Equal playing time calculator for youth football
With 10 players, 7 places and 4 periods of 10 minutes, there are 28 turns on the pitch to share, so 8 players get 30 minutes and 2 players get 20 minutes.
Free, and no account needed. It's the same team sheet, so you get the changes and a link for the parents too.
Minutes for every player
The sheet's own answer for 10 fictional players at 7-a-side. Paste your squad and it shares your minutes the same way.
10 players over 4 periods. Planned minutes, not a record of minutes actually played. Closest even split the availability and keeper arrangement allow.
How the sum works
Multiply the places by the periods, then divide by the players. 7 × 4 is 28 turns, and 28 ÷ 10 is 2.8 each. The sheet changes players between periods, not during them, so some play one period more than others.
Each sheet plans one match. It doesn't carry minutes over from last week, so keep a note of who got the shorter share.

Playing time questions
What about the keeper?
Unless you change it, keepers take turns from the players already on, so a turn in goal costs nobody minutes. Time in goal counts as time played. You can also name a few who share goal, keep one keeper all game, or play without one.
Someone pulls out on the morning. What then?
Open your sheet, untick them and tap Update the sheet. It shares the minutes again among whoever is left. If someone goes off injured, mark the period they left in and the rest are balanced from then on.
Can parents see it?
Send them the link. It opens on any phone without the app or an account, and when you change the sheet the same link shows the change.
Does every format have substitutes?
No. In England the FA's 3v3 format has no substitutes, so everyone plays all the time. From 5v5 up, its youth formats use rolling substitutes. The sheet does the same. At 3v3 and 4v4 it splits the squad into teams so everyone plays, and from 5-a-side up it shares out the periods.
